Docker, DevOps & cloud deployment
A backend is only as good as the way it's deployed. I containerise applications with Docker, run them behind Nginx on Linux servers, and automate builds and releases so shipping a change is routine rather than risky.
At Germania Holdings I was part of the technical team behind SnacKeeper, a smart vending service in Bangladesh, responsible for backend operations, server management and DevOps, with the goal of keeping the whole system up and running 24/7. At YOUR Campus, deployment is part of my core-team remit alongside architecture and execution.
What you get
How I can help
- 01
Containerisation
Dockerfiles and Docker Compose setups for apps, databases and message brokers, so local, staging and production environments match.
- 02
Servers on AWS or DigitalOcean
Linux servers set up with Nginx as a reverse proxy, sensible defaults and room to grow.
- 03
CI/CD pipelines
Automated pipelines that build and publish container images, for example GitHub Actions pushing to GitHub Container Registry.
- 04
Day-to-day operations
Server maintenance, updates and production troubleshooting: the operations work behind services that need to stay up.
Tools I use for this
- Docker
- Docker Compose
- Nginx
- Linux
- AWS
- DigitalOcean
- GitHub Actions
- PostgreSQL

FAQ
Common questions
- AWS or DigitalOcean: which should I use?
- It depends on the workload. I've worked with both. DigitalOcean is often the simpler choice for a single application; AWS makes sense when you need its wider range of managed services. I'll recommend one once I understand what you're running.
- Can you containerise an existing application?
- Yes. It usually starts with a Dockerfile and a Docker Compose file for local development, then the same images are used in production.
- Do you offer ongoing support?
- Yes. I'm available for maintenance and support seven days a week, outside 12 PM–8 PM Bangladesh time (GMT+6).
- How do we get started?
- Send a short description of the project through the contact form or by email. I'll reply with any questions and a suggested next step.
